After cheers for a month, the first single of Girls’ Generation in Japan named “Genie” can finally reach 100,000 copies, reported by the Oricon’s chart officially.
“Genie” still makes impressive copies on the Oricon’s chart continually since September 8, the day that “Genie” was released for the first day in Japan.
Right now, Girls’ Generation and their single still have a name on the weekly Oricon’s music chart at #25 since the first day that Girls’ Generation debut in Japan.
The special thing was 4,435 copies in the last week. It makes the total of “Genie” copies increases to 101,252 copies now. It can prove Girls’ Generation’s success in Japan very well.
Before, “Genie was rewarded for the “GOLD” rank by Recording Industry Association of Japan after this single can make more than 100,000 copies in September.
Moreover, Girls’ Generation’s popularity is always shown through the Oricon’s music chart. Their reputation is accepted and now they become the most famous Korean idol girl group in Japan.
